Haven't gotten any pages done since that last post, but I'm hopeful that I'll be able to get 2 or maybe 3 pages done today. We'll see. It's my first night in a long time with no other social obligations.

I did manage to get a little bit of drawing done the last few days at least. Here's what I drew:

• Erin, naked and erect, on her knees
• A fat and naked fairy with vivid pink skin and horns
• A princess in lingerie, looking at herself in a mirror while stepping on her servant

I experimented with different coloring and lineart styles on these drawings. The first one used the same basic techniques I'm using for the comic -- aliased brushes and no pressure sensitivity, with hard edges between zones of color. The second image used that same brush for the lineart, but I experimented with using Gimp's "MyPaint" tool with the "Acrylic and Water" setting for the colors. The third drawing uses aliased brushes with pressure-sensitive opacity, which I think makes the lines look more like a pencil sketch.

I can't seem to get myself to use antialiased brushes for the lineart. I think it makes my lack of a steady hand and poor pressure control more obvious. The fixed-width aliased brush feels like it better complements my skill level.

In other news I'm finding myself itching to get back into game dev. I keep checking on itch for more horny game jams to participate in, but I'm just not finding anything. Am I going to have to wait for the next Strawberry Jam in February? I guess I can make something without a jam, or even host one myself, but that seems like a lot of work.

Before starting work on this comic, I was working on a Ren'py project where you execute heists as part of a team, Oceans Eleven style. The main character's role on the heists would be seduction -- flirting and fucking to get information and favors. Over several chapters you would recruit a harem crew of experts for more and more complicated heists. Not sure if you'd actually wind up playing as any of the other team members or if you'd strictly be in the seducer's POV for the entire time.
