Local gremlin takes 56 days to draw a 35 page comic
The comic is done! 35 full-color pages plus an "adults only" warning page and a credits page. I spent most of today cleaning up pages and trying to get Shelly and Erin looking more on model. Mostly that meant scaling shelly down so she didn't look absolutely gigantic next to Erin, and reshaping both of their faces a bit. There's certainly more I could do on that front but I had to call it at some point.
I also went back and added text transcripts for all the pages. Only the dialogue, no descriptions of the illustrations. The descriptions in the alt-text on the Twitter thread are a bit more comprehensive.
I've got a post sitting in my drafts on itch, detailing the whole development process I used for the comic, but I don't know if I'll wind up publishing it.
You can read the comic at its page on itch.io. I'm not hosting it directly on uskprod.online because in the extremely unlikely event that I become popular, I don't want it to eat up my bandwidth.
Game reviews lightning round
As usual, I've been digging around itch for interesting adult games in my spare time. Recently I played a few games including Fattening Career, My Family Farm, and Late Lunch, Early Dinner.
Fattening Career is a visual novel where you play as a university student. You're in a nutrition science class, and your professor decides that the best way to keep the class interested in the material is to fatten herself up over the course of the semester. She chooses the main character to help her with this project. You also get the opportunity to fatten up and have sex with various other characters, such as a gym trainer and a local livestreamer.
It's a fun premise, and there' a surprising amount of content for a game labeled version 0.0.3 (a version 0.0.4 was released since I played it). It's a bit grindy and there's certainly a long way to go, but I think it has promise. It definitely needs to be edited for grammar and spelling.
In My Family Farm you play as a a guy who's been forced to move back in with his family on an old farm due to terrible global economic problems caused by a meteor impact. At first it seems like you won't be able to afford to even stay at the farm, but then you meet a harvest goddess who gives you a hand with fertilizing the fields.
The catch is that, although this goddess has powers over agriculture, she needs to use erotic energy from naughty acts to fuel her magic. That means the main character has to fuck just about everyone in town, including his mother and sisters, if he wants the farm to be successful.
It's a very pretty game, and the scenario is pretty funny, but I found the core gameplay loop to be somewhat tedious. Every day you have time to perform a few actions (starting at 2, upgradeble) including planting, harvesting, and sex. Most days are just "plant radishes" then "harvest radishes" then "have sex" unless there's a specific quest you're following. Frequently you'll do a quest in the morning that immediately sets the clock forward to night time, and then you can't really do much with your remaining actions because you're not allowed to farm at night.
The game's only on version 0.1.0 now, so I'm hopeful that the content will be fleshed out in the future.
Late Lunch, Early Dinner is a short and to-the-point furry visual novel about vore. You play as a tiger who meets up with his study group to review Japanese. You get hungry, and you'll wind up eating one of your friends.
Overall, it's a cute little game and I liked all the characters. I'd like to see the story continued. I'm not a fan of "reformation" being part of a vore-heavy setting though. If you're going to have digestion, just own it.
